Superintendent Todd Boggs

jodiepicAs Thanksgiving break approaches, I am thankful for our children who are performing strongly academically, working toward opportunities in their chosen careers, and representing our school district with class and dignity. I have enjoyed watching our Pirates perform in all venues!

I am thankful for our staff and the positive connections our adults are making with students to help provide purpose and meaning in their lives. Regardless of position or title, I know that our adults care about children and work relentlessly to provide rich opportunities within our district and community resources.

I am thankful for the opportunity to work collaboratively with a caring staff for the good of our children. A strong foundation has been established and it will be exciting to work with all stakeholders to continue to build from where we are, plan and set goals for our district and children, and celebrate the achievements of our students.

I am thankful for the support of parents and guardians who partner with us as we seek to enhance the educational experience for our students. It takes a cooperative effort between our families and schools to ensure students are successful in the paths they choose to pursue.

I am thankful for our Perkins community and the countless ways our friends and neighbors share their time, talents and resources for the benefit of our students and schools. Our community is a vital component of each victory and advancement we observe with our students.

I am particularly thankful to be here at Perkins Schools and for the warm reception my family and I received upon our arrival. We are immensely appreciative and proud to be Perkins Pirates!
Our district has celebrated numerous successes in the educational process but there is more to accomplish. Together, we must work diligently to make academic strides for your family, my family and our Perkins family. By promoting the growth and advancement of our students to move our district forward, we are also contributing to the enhancement and flourishment of the community we serve.
